Task:

The international motor show IAA is an industry highlight every two years. Schaeffler and Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket therefore have to be there – it is a prestige appearance for one of the leading development partners in the automotive industry and trend-setting supplier of replacement parts that hold their value and repair solutions for passenger cars and commercial vehicles.

Our job twice in a row now has been to bring Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket closer to its target customers.

Objective:

Who is Schaeffler? What is Schaeffler involved with? What is Schaeffler automotive aftermarket all about? Central issues for image maintenance – prepared in a customer-friendly way.

Implementation:

IAA 2011
A story of uncompromising performance, quality and success. The transfer effect comes from motor sports – the DTM that Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket won victoriously as the sponsor for Team Phoenix in 2011. At the IAA everything was still open, but the course was already set for victory and the motto was clear for the public: “Schaeffler DTM Experience” – with Martin Tomczyk. A good decision: On 23 October, he crossed the finish line at the Hockenheimring for Team Phoenix and Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket as the season winner.

A great theme for the IAA open days. A great them for an image publication – a 6-page brochure with headlines such as:

  • Strong alone – unbeatable together
  • Quality is value

What began thematically at Automechanika 2012 continued at the IAA 2013 with a clear challenge: Discover more.
